Holiday Cocktail Recipes by a World Champion Bartender

Photo by ETSchindler Photography Last week, we celebrated the exciting launch of Crafthouse by Fortessa, the new line of modern barware made in collaboration with World Champion Bartender, Charles Joly! For the gift that keeps on giving, Charles concocted two custom holiday cocktail creations for you to try at home. He also included the barware to go with it, so go on and give it whirl. Let us know how it goes! Custom Cocktail Recipes by Charles Joly You’ll Need: A Mixing Glass, Jigger, Bar Spoon, Julep Strainer, Coupe Cocktail Glass, and Ice Bucket with Ice Scoop. Prep: Pour prosecco into coupe cocktail glass. In the mixing glass, combine absinthe, sloe gin, lemon and simple syrus – stir with bar spoon to combine. Transfer mixture to the boston shaker and shake with ice. Strain slowly with the hawthorne strainer into the coupe glass containing the prosecco. Top the cocktail with a few dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters to finish. Garnish drink with a manicured twist (use the Crafthouse by Fortessa channel knife).
