Healthy Zoodle Recipes for Your Spiralizer

We brought in the girls from Tovita Nutrition to show us a few ways to get creative with the hottest new kitchen tool, the spiralizer. Tovita is a virtual nutrition counseling and concierge service run by registered dietitians Molly Rieger and Leah Silberman. Their private counseling sessions take place via video conference, which eliminates that time in transit we dread to get to and from appointments. The girls work with clients to create individualized meal plans catered to their unique lifestyle and goals. Their blog is a space where they provide healthy recipes, debunk the latest nutrition fads, and share interviews with influencers in the wellness world. Now let’s get to it, the Tovita girls are sharing their top two zoodle recipes: Green Goddess Zoodles This recipe is a Tovita favorite. It’s a new way to get your greens on when you just can’t eat another salad. College Sweethearts and #ZolaCouple: Kevin & Lea

After 7+ years of dating through college and in New York City, Kevin sprung a surprise engagement on Lea that she was hardly expecting. Read below for registry tips and advice from the newlyweds . How did you meet? We went to college together at Penn.  We were friends for a few years and started dating during our senior year.  We both moved to New York after graduation and got engaged seven (!!) years later. How did you get engaged? Lea was in med school and she had a few weeks off in April to study for a big national standardized test.  For a couple months, her days were: wake up, study, eat lunch, study, eat dinner, study, sleep. Lea was expecting a proposal, but not really until the summer when we were going on vacation. On a Sunday afternoon, Kevin went to the library and took Lea for a walk as a study break.  In the middle of a nearby park, with no other people in sight (and nobody to take a picture … oops) Kevin surprised Lea and got …

Wedding Makeup: Glossier

We here at Zola searched high and low for the perfect makeup regimen that makes you look like your best you ever, because that’s what you want, right? You want to strive to look like you, not way-too-much-eyeliner you or pageant-queen you, but the real you. The one your partner fell in love with! The reason we’re here in the first place. We spoke with our favorite Zola bride, Chloe, about her makeup and skincare regimen, and she chooses Glossier, a stress-free skincare line. Their products are light enough that your natural skin shines through for a seamlessly smooth and dewey glow – one that looks great in all your weddings pics, too. After hearing her rave reviews, a Glossier wedding day (or everyday) routine is a no brainer. Zola: What are your favorite Glossier products?  Chloe: It’s a tie between the Rosewater Face Mist and the Skin Tint. I love the face mist because it’s a quick and easy way to feel fresh and give my face a clean natural look. I love the tint because it’s so …

Beginner’s Guide to: Towels

Towels are some of the only items on your registry that are truly everyday essentials. However, the seemingly endless options to choose from can be kind of paralyzing if you don’t know where to start. From color to size, shape, texture, detail and consistency, our beginner’s guide takes the guesswork out of towel registering so you can get back to day dreaming about that cast iron waffle maker you really need. What are they? Towels are truly essentials you use everyday, sometimes more. Do I really need these?  Yes. Even if I already have towels? Yup! From a practical standpoint, you both use them all the time and wear and tear is the nature of the product, so it’s worth stocking up. How annoyed would you be if you opted out of towel registering and a few months after the wedding, your trusty, old towels started to fray? How many do I need?  We suggest between 8-12 bath towels per two-person household. You can opt for less hand towels as they tend to get the least use and we …
