Winter White Table Ideas

excel

No matter how much we keep wishing for warmer weather, the fact of the matter is we’re still deep in the throws of winter. To get through this particularly cold day, we decided to channel our energy into winter tablescape tips. Read up on the ways you can style your table with winter whites for the next time your entertain.

1. Set The Scene

We recommend starting with the basics: white or neutral place settings. This way you can layer on fun accents. Our favorites range from this simple Denby China 4-Piece Place Setting to Lenox’s Shape 4-Piece Place Setting if you’re looking for something with texture or Kate Spade’s Oliver Park 5-Piece Place Setting if you want a pop of glam gold.

Here’s where you can have some fun. Think about who you’ll be hosting at your table and decorate it accordingly. Style it with fun floral or colored accents to liven up the mood or evoke a sense of winter romance by keeping things clean with delicate white linens. For some color, consider these Billy Cotton Goblets. Or, to keep things sweet and simple, check out Coyuchi’s Grand Lace Napkins.

3. Choose A Cozy Dessert

Nothing warms people up on a winter night quite like a freshly baked dessert or a hot cup of tea. Use post-dinner treats to dress up your white serving pieces. We’re currently in love with these Kinto Mugtail Cups and this Rosanna Cake Stand – pair with peppermint hot cocoa or chocolate cake and you’re guests will never want to leave (both pictured above).

4. Warm Up The Ambience

Finally, dim the lights and set the mood with a candle or two. Voila! Your winter table is ready for guests. Do you have any other ideas? Share them in the comments below!
